What is an item?
- In the simplest of terms if the lead can be separated from the appliance then they are considered as two separate items.
- A kettle with a separate base will be counted as two items as they both require separate tests and identity numbers.
- A computer system may be made up of four separate items e.g. monitor, computer, and 2 x IEC power leads.
Pricing includes:
- Thorough formal visual inspection
- All required tests on our latest SEAWARD EUROPA PLUS PAT testing equipment
- Fuse replacement (as required) to BS1362
- Plug rewiring or new plugs (as required) to BS1363 with retest
- Microwave radiation leakage tests (5mw/cm2 is classed as being harmful)
- All pass / fail labels
- Comprehensive file with all test records
- Results held on our database for least at 7 years
